Come CES 2024, Acer presents its spiffed up Swift and Aspire laptops. The sleek lifestyle and work laptops now come with built-in AI engines and a special Windows Copilot button right on their keyboards plus there are more laptops from Acer, read on.

1) Acer Aspire Vero 16

The Aspire Vero 16 takes the stage as an 'AI PC' running with the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 processor featuring Intel AI Boost. Acer's focus on achieving carbon neutrality and reducing its carbon footprint shines through in this model. Its new eco-chic design flaunts a smooth surface and a tactile chassis made without volatile organic compounds, paint, or additives. Crafted from 60% PCR material, it's designed to emit fewer CO2 emissions during production.

Equipped with a 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) display and a 16:10 aspect ratio, this laptop also offers a WUXGA touchscreen option. Connectivity options are on point with Bluetooth LE Audio, two USB Type-C ports (Thunderbolt 4 and USB 4), and an HDMI 2.1 port. And the battery life? A solid 10.5 hours on a single charge. The Aspire Vero 16 also packs in a 1440p QHD webcam with AI-assisted Acer PurifiedVoice, supports up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and can handle up to 2 TB dual PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage that's upgradeable. 2) Acer Swift Go

The fresh Acer Swift Go 16 and Swift Go 14 bring OLED displays to the table, with 500-nit peak brightness, a full 100% DCI-P3 colour spectrum, and DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. The 16-incher has a 3.2K OLED 120Hz screen, while its 14-inch sibling has a 2.8K OLED 90Hz display. Plus, you have the choice of WUXGA touchscreen displays for that handy touch and pen input.

In terms of design, both laptops sport lightweight aluminium frames, able to flip open to 180 degrees, featuring a multi-control lighting touchpad in select models. They've also got an OceanGlass touchpad, offering a scrolling space that's 44% larger compared to the older versions, Acer says. Acer's latest 'Evo Certified' models also promise a performance leap of up to 45%, courtesy of next-gen Intel Core Ultra 9 Processors paired with support for up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and Intel Arc GPU. Plus, they're expected to keep you going with solid battery life – up to 12.5 hours for the 14-inch model and up to 10.5 hours for the 16-inch model. The Acer Swift Go 16 is for $799.99 (approx ₹66,460 approx) and the Acer Swift Go 14 comes for a starting price of $749.99 (approx. ₹62,310 approx.)

3) Acer Swift X 14

The Swift X lineup from Acer stands out by packing in a dedicated NVIDIA GPU. It's armed with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU alongside the fresh Intel Core Ultra H-Series processors. Not stopping there, it comes loaded with Studio Drivers, exclusive AI tools, and DLSS 3.5 featuring AI-powered Ray Reconstruction—ready to tackle the most demanding software out there.

To keep its cool, this laptop has a large fan, dual D6 copper heat pipes, and a unique air inlet keyboard. Picture-perfect visuals are ensured with the Calman-verified 14.5-inch 2.8K 120Hz OLED display, promising top-notch colour accuracy at Delta E<2.

In the specs department, it supports up to 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM, can handle up to 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD, sports dual USB Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a MicroSD card reader. 4) Aspire Go Laptops (2024)

The Aspire Go 15 (AG15-31P) and Aspire Go 14 (AG14-31P) are juiced up with Intel Core i3 N-Series processors, while the Aspire Go 14 (AG14-21P) steps up its game with AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors, offering snappy performance alongside a solid 10-hour battery life for all models. Both the Aspire Go 15 and Aspire Go 14 can handle up to 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1 TB M.2 PCIe Gen3 SSD. The Aspire Go 14 models have a WUXGA panel sporting a 16:10 aspect ratio, while the Aspire Go 15 models feature an FHD display with the same 16:10 aspect ratio. Plus, Acer's BlueLightShield technology lends a hand by protecting your eyes during those marathon viewing sessions. The Acer Aspire Go 15’s starting price is $249 (approx ₹20,770). 5) Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs Edition

The new Acer Aspire 3D 15 laptop takes on 3D like a boss, as per Acer. Integrating SpatialLabs' advanced optical solutions paired with the might of up to an Intel Core i7 processor 13620H and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPUs, these are designed for projecting immersive 3D images and scenes.
