Snapchat, at the Mobile World Congress 2023 launched My AI, a new chatbot running the latest version of OpenAI's GPT technology customized for Snapchat.
Available as an experimental feature for Snapchat+ subscribers, My AI can do all that your best friend can. For example, it can recommend birthday gift ideas for your friends and family, plan an impromptu trip, suggest recipes for when you’re not able to decide or even write a haiku about cheese for your cheddar-obsessed pal.
Furthermore, you can also give your My AI a name and customise the wallpaper for your Chat. However, the brand also states that like other AI-powered chatbots, My AI is prone to hallucination and can be tricked into saying just about anything. Also, Snapchat suggests not sharing any secrets with My AI and you can press and hold on to any message from My AI to submit feedback.
