The Vespa Dual brings refreshing new colourways at ₹1.32 lakh

Style for the youth!

If you are fashionable enough to whizz around on a colourful little Vespa, you will be interested in knowing that Piaggio has unleashed its latest creation in India - the all-new 'Dual' variant of the Vespa. With a starting price of ₹1.32 lakh (ex-showroom), the new model is available in two avatars: VXL and SXL. It's not just a pretty face either; the updated scooter comes in four new dual-tone color schemes, making it the hippest ride in town.

The Vespa Dual has embraced modern technology with its OBD-2-compliant 125cc and 150cc engines. Safety is no joke either. The Vespa Dual is equipped with a disc brake on the front wheel, a drum brake on the rear wheel, and Combined Braking System (CBS) for extra stopping power.

Under the hood, or rather, under the seat, you have two engine options: a 125cc or a 150cc, both single-cylinder powerhouses. Plus, they're mated to a smooth CVT gearbox, so you won't have to worry about shifting gears like a race car driver. The colourways offered in this dual variant include– Pearl White + Azuro Provenza, Pearl White + Beige, Pearl White + Matt Red and Pearl White + Matt Black.

Now, let's talk money. The 2023 Vespa Dual is pretty reasonably priced. The VXL 125 trim starts at ₹1.32 lakh, while the SXL 125 model will set you back ₹1.37 lakh. If you want the extra oomph of the 150cc engine, the VXL 150 variant is priced at ₹1.46 lakh, and the top-of-the-line SXL 150 version comes in at ₹1.49 lakh. So, you can zip around town on your Vespa without breaking the bank.
