This event gave a comprehensive look at brand-new games and updates from across first-party studios and their incredible global partners, revealing exciting new titles that are ready to thrill gamers in the coming months and years.

Keeper
Keeper is a third-person atmospheric adventure, told without words, launches October 17, 2025, on Xbox, PC, Steam, and Game Pass. Set in a post-human world, it features a Lighthouse that awakens, learns to walk, and partners with a seabird on an epic journey. Its beam affects flora and wards off a malevolent presence.
Black Ops 7
The big final reveal for the Xbox portion of the event was the next Call of Duty, Black Ops 7. Activision confirms the new game is set in 2035, following a story where David Mason leads the Black Ops team. They confront a manipulative enemy who weaponises fear above all else.
Gears Reloaded
Classic gets a remaster. Gears of War: Reloaded, a remaster of the classic title, launches August 26th for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It features 4K resolution, 120fps support, and cross-progression/cross-play across all platforms. This remaster includes two-player co-op for the campaign and 8-player multiplayer, bringing the franchise a modern update. Developed by The Coalition, it aims to deliver a modern experience for fans.
Grounded 2
Backyard survival expands. Obsidian announced Grounded 2 early access on July 29, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S and PC, day one with Game Pass. The sequel returns players to their miniature state in expanded Brookhollow Park, two years after the first game. New features include mounted combat with tamed bugs, improved crafting/base-building, new biomes, and first/third-person perspectives. It promises more thrilling survival elements.
Invincible VS
Invincible VS is a 3v3 tag fighting game. It features characters like Invincible, Omni-Man, and Atom Eve. Expect a 2026 launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC. It offers a single-player story, competitive/casual multiplayer Versus, Arcade, and Training modes, promising "unparalleled heroic brutality" in every battle.
Cronos
Survive a retro-future in Bloober Team's retro-futuristic survival horror. Launching Fall 2025, this third-person experience features time travel and a post-apocalyptic setting. A unique mechanic forces players to burn monster corpses, preventing other monsters from absorbing them to become greater threats, bringing a whole new meaning to kill it with fire. Play as "the Traveller" investigating "Orphans" in a nest.
Planet of Lana 2
Duo explores more Novo. Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf, revealed at Xbox Games Showcase, continues Lana and Mui's adventure in Novo. This 2026 sequel features a deeper story and more challenging puzzles. Gameplay refines side-scrolling with heightened agility, wall-jumping, sliding, and intense stealth. Composer Takeshi Furukawa returns, adding new environments like underwater levels. It will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
Outer Worlds 2
Players are Earth Directorate "space cowboys," shaping characters with choices like "Brilliant" or "Dumb." The Flaws system returns, offering negative perks for buffs. New skills and creative weapons, including a "Pop-Up Gun" and "musical sword," enhance combat and exploration. Six companions, like Niles and Aza, join your journey. Expect fantastic mechanics and weird new systems from Obsidian. The Outer Worlds 2 launches October 2025 for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
High on Life 2
After saving humanity, a mysterious figure puts a bounty on your sister. Join your alien team to fight an evil pharmaceutical conglomerate. Expect high-octane combat with charismatic alien weapons, new skateboard traversal, and bizarre characters voiced by a comedy cast. Wreak havoc across new cosmic locations in this comedic adventure.
Age of Mythology Heavenly Spear
Japanese gods arrive in this new expansion coming Fall 2025. It introduces a brand-new Japanese pantheon with 12 gods, unique blessings, and new myth units like Kitsune and Shinigami. Play a sweeping 12-mission campaign, command samurai, and wield divine powers. Wishlist on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox. Premium Edition owners get it day one.
Dawnwalker
The Blood of the Dawnwalker is confirmed for a 2026 release. This vampire-themed RPG features combat with claws or melee weapons. Players can use unique vampiric traversal like mist-blinking and wall-walking, as well as romanceable characters. Prepare for a full 15-minute gameplay showcase on June 21, detailing magic, traversal, and combat systems.
Final Fantasy XVI
Epic action RPG arrives. Final Fantasy XVI, Square Enix’s acclaimed action-RPG, is now available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC, including all DLC in the Complete Edition. This release means all mainline, single-player Final Fantasy games are now on Xbox, with Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade coming this winter. Indiana Jones, Order of Giants DLC
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants DLC launches September 4, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
