As if India didn’t have enough smartphones, we have the long-standing PC brand Acer launching a smartphone here in India. The Acer Super ZX starts in the sub-₹15,000 segment, boasting a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, a triple-camera setup, and 33W fast charging. Powering this model is the MediaTek 6300 chipset, and it runs on stock Android 15.
The Acer Super ZX’s camera setup is a highlight, featuring a Sony LYTIA sensor and a 64-megapixel back camera. It comes in various configurations, offering 4GB RAM with 128GB internal memory, and going up to 8GB RAM with 256GB internal memory. Colour options include Black, Blue, and Green. This model sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, an IP64-rated glass design with a frosted glass back and metal frame, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset.

The Acer Super ZX Pro’s camera setup includes a 50-megapixel OIS camera with a Sony IMX 882 sensor, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a bokeh camera, all enhanced with AI processing. Notably, it also features a 50-megapixel front camera with AI capabilities, enabling clearer selfies and FHD video recording. Other key features of the Pro model include a high-density 5000 mAh battery with Dolby Atmos support. It comes in configurations ranging from 8+8 GB RAM with 128 GB internal memory to 12GB RAM with 512GB internal memory, and is available in Black, Purple, and Light Blue.
Both the Acer Super ZX and Acer Super ZX Pro support 5G connectivity, run on Stock Android 15, and feature dual SIM support and an IP-certified design.
Acer's arrival introduces new competition in India's mid-range smartphone market. The emphasis on packing in features at competitive prices could be a significant factor in how these devices are received.
