Get ready for a trip back to a reimagined ancient India! Tara Gaming Ltd, has unveiled plans for The Age of Bhaarat, an ambitious entertainment franchise kicking off with a dark fantasy action-adventure RPG. Founded by gaming veteran Nouredine Abboud (who previously produced Ghost Recon Wildlands), the studio is aiming high, weaving together narratives inspired by Indian heritage for digital entertainment, with plans to eventually expand into films, TV series, and merchandise. Famed author Amish Tripathi (of Shiva Trilogy fame) is heading up the narrative development, so expect an epic tale.
So, what's the game itself about? You step into the shoes of a Forest Warden in this fantastical take on ancient India. Your mission is to defend your homeland from a nasty invasion of Rakshasa demons. To do this, you'll need to harness mystical powers and wield powerful weapons. The recently released trailer gives a taste of this, showcasing a land of heroes with beautiful environments. Face off against invaders, monsters, demons, and oppressors and fight for your homeland. The game teases adventure, action, and even co-op multiplayer gameplay, so you’ll be able to team up with mates to battle the forces of darkness.
While a release date is still under wraps, The Age of Bhaarat is already available to wishlist on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. This looks like one for fans of action RPGs and epic mythology to keep a close eye on!
