Asus has rolled out its most ambitious professional monitor yet, the ProArt Display 8K PA32KCX, an 8K HDR Mini LED panel built for colour-critical creators, filmmakers and post-production pros who demand absolute precision. Priced at Rs. 15,99,999, this is far from your average desktop display, and nothing about it is ordinary.
The headline feature is, of course, the 8K (7680×4320) resolution, featuring a massive 275 PPI, which is more than double that of a standard 32-inch 4K screen. For creators working with ultra-high-resolution content, the difference is instantly noticeable – text is sharp, colour gradients are smoother, and you get nearly 300% more screen real estate than a typical 32-inch 4K display. Pair that with Asus’ latest mini-LED tech, 4032-zone local dimming, and a peak brightness of 1200 nits (with 1000 nits sustained), and what you get is one of the brightest, most precisely controlled HDR panels available today.
As for colour accuracy, it covers 95% Adobe RGB, 97% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB, and 100% Rec.709, plus a true 10-bit IPS panel capable of producing 1.07 billion colours. Each panel is factory-pre-calibrated using a rigorous three-scale process to achieve an industry-leading Delta E < 1. Plus, its built-in motorised flip colorimeter handles both self-calibration and scheduled auto-calibration without needing external tools.
For professionals who work across multiple colour pipelines, the monitor supports ASUS Auto Calibration, ProArt Calibration, ProArt Color Center, and integrates smoothly with Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS hardware-calibration software.
The PA32KCX also brings class-leading HDR format support, including Dolby Vision, HLG, and HDR10. The panel’s ability to sustain 1000 nits full-screen brightness, without patch limitations, creates a level of HDR consistency almost no other professional display can match, as per Asus.
Connectivity is just as robust. You get dual Thunderbolt 4 ports (one with 96W Power Delivery and the other supporting daisy-chaining), DisplayPort 2.1, and two HDMI 2.1 ports. There’s also built-in auto KVM, plus PbP and PiP modes for multi-source workflows.
Adding to its usability, the monitor features an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, a fully ergonomic stand supporting tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjustment, along with a wraparound hood to reduce reflections. For creatives working in tight spaces, the quick-release mechanism allows effortless VESA mounting. Asus sweetens the deal with a free 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud, including Substance 3D and Adobe Acrobat.
