ASUS ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X are launched in India for Rs. 69,990 and Rs.1,14,990

Asus has introduced the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X in India, equipped with AMD Ryzen Z2 series processors. Originally unveiled globally in July 2025, these Windows-powered handheld gaming PCs feature an Xbox-style interface and a 7-inch Full HD display with 120Hz refresh rate.

The ROG Xbox Ally X runs on Windows 11 Home and is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor. It features a 7-inch Full HD (1080p) IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium, and 500 nits peak brightness. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and includes Corning DXC Anti-Reflection coating for clear visuals even in bright environments.

The handheld includes contoured grips inspired by Xbox Wireless Controllers for all-day comfort. Controls include ABXY buttons, a D-pad, L & R impulse triggers, L & R bumpers, 2 full-size analogue sticks, 2 assignable back buttons, HD haptics, and a 6-Axis IMU for motion-based gameplay. It comes with 24GB LPDDR5X-8000 RAM and a 1TB M.2 2280 SSD, providing ample memory and storage for large game libraries and multitasking.

Connectivity options include WiFi 6E (2x2), Bluetooth 5.4, a USB4 port with DisplayPort 2.1 / 

Power Delivery 3.0, Thunderbolt 4 compatible, a UHS-II microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The device is powered by an 80Wh battery, weighs 715g. The package includes the ROG Xbox Ally X, a 65W charger, and a stand.

The ROG Xbox Ally also runs on Windows 11 Home and is powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor. It features a 7-inch Full HD (1080p) IPS display with 500 nits peak brightness and AMD FreeSync support, along with Corning DXC Anti-Reflection coating, similar to the Xbox Ally X.

The handheld shares the same contoured grips, ABXY buttons, D-pad, bumpers, full-size analogue sticks, assignable back buttons, HD haptics, and 6-Axis IMU as the Ally X. The main differences lie in the L & R Hall Effect analog triggers (versus impulse triggers on the X) and 16GB LPDDR5X-6400 RAM with a 512GB SSD, compared to the Ally X’s higher memory and storage configuration.

Connectivity is largely the same, with WiFi 6E (2x2), Bluetooth 5.4, dual USB-C ports with DisplayPort 1.4, a UHS-II microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The battery is 60Wh , and the device weighs 670g. The package includes the ROG Xbox Ally, a 65W charger, and a stand.
