Asus India has expanded its gaming laptop range with the debut of the TUF Gaming F16 and an updated version of the ROG Strix G16. Both machines come equipped with Nvidia’s freshly launched GeForce RTX 5050 GPU. With configuration options featuring Intel Core i7/i5 HX series and AMD Ryzen 9 HX processors.
Asus’ latest ROG Strix G16 (G615) pairs an Intel Core i7-14650HX CPU with the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 GPU (8GB VRAM). It sports a sharp 16-inch 2.5K anti-glare display with a fluid 240Hz refresh rate and full DCI-P3 colour coverage. Backed by 16GB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and a 90WHr battery, the machine is built for serious gaming. The 4-zone RGB keyboard adds a splash of customisable flair.

The 2024 ROG Strix G16 (G614), meanwhile, swaps Intel for AMD with a Ryzen 9 8940HX processor, offering up to 16 TOPS of AI processing power. It features a 16-inch FHD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate, and includes a dedicated Copilot key for quick AI interactions. Like its sibling, it also includes 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, making it a well-rounded option for gamers and power users alike.
Asus has priced the new ROG Strix G16 starting at Rs. 1,44,990. And, the TUF Gaming F16 starts at Rs. 1,24,990.
