Asus Vivobook S14 (2025) and 14 (2025) land with AMD brains

Asus has introduced the Vivobook S14 (2025) and Vivobook 14 (2025) in India, both powered by up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor coupled with a Radeon GPU and an up to 50 TOPS XDNA NPU. Both devices ship with Windows 11 Home and come bundled with a lifetime subscription to MS Office Home 2024 and one year of Microsoft 365 Basic.

Each model features a 14-inch Full-HD+ display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The S14 (2025) features an OLED panel with 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, while the 14 (2025) sports an IPS screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, 45% NTSC colour gamut, and peak brightness of 300 nits.

The laptops feature a backlit chiclet keyboard complete with a dedicated Copilot key. On the memory front, the Vivobook 14 (2025) includes 16GB DDR5 5600 MHz RAM with a SO-DIMM slot, while the Vivobook S14 (2025) supports up to 32GB DDR5 RAM, combining 16GB onboard with an additional 16GB via SO-DIMM. Storage options differ as well, with the S14 offering up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD and the 14 providing 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD.

In terms of cameras, the Vivobook 14 (2025) features a full-HD IR webcam with a privacy shutter and Windows Hello login, while the Vivobook S14 (2025) adds support for Windows Studio Effects on top of that. Connectivity includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports with power delivery and display support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Vivobook S14 (2025) gets an HDMI 2.1 TMDS port, whereas the Vivobook 14 (2025) is fitted with an HDMI 1.4 port.

The S14 (2025) houses a 70Wh battery with support for 65W fast charging, while the Vivobook 14 (2025) comes with a smaller 42Wh unit but retains the same charging speed. In terms of build, the Vivobook 14 (2025) weighs approximately 1.46kg, whereas the slimmer and lighter Vivobook S14 (2025) weighs 1.4kg.

As for pricing, the new Asus Vivobook 15 (2025) starts at Rs. 70,990, while the Vivobook 14 (X1407CA) is priced from Rs. 42,990.
