BenQ has dropped the curtain on the RD280U monitor from its RD Series lineup. Sporting a 4K+ display, it features a customisable MoonHalo backlight and advanced coding modes tailored specifically for programmers and developers.

The monitor has a 28.2-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 4K+ resolution, ideal for stacking more lines of code vertically. It has a KVM switch, multi-stream transport, and BenQ’s productivity software suite. BenQ says its proprietary coding mode sharpens text clarity, ensuring code stands out crisply in any lighting. Plus, a handy Coding HotKey streamlines workflow focus.

The MoonHalo Backlight on the BenQ RD280U Programming Monitor aims to enhance late-night coding sessions by creating an immersive atmosphere and reducing eye strain. It offers additional lighting in dim environments and cuts down on daytime glare. Like its counterparts in the RD series, this monitor also prioritises comfort with Night Hours Protection, featuring minimal brightness, an eye-care filter, dark room optimisation, and Brightness Intelligence Gen2 for automatic ambient light adjustment. The BenQ RD280U monitor is priced at ₹47,500.
