To mark 40 years of Back to the Future, Casio has released a special edition of its classic CA-500 calculator watch. The CA-500WEBF brings back the beloved 1980s look made famous by Marty McFly, now reimagined with subtle DeLorean-inspired details, vintage-style ’80s packaging. The limited-edition watch is priced at £115 (approx. Rs.13,500).

The dial incorporates elements inspired by the DeLorean’s rear lights and the iconic OUTATIME license plate, and the brightly colored calculator keys pay tribute to the time circuits seen on Doc Brown’s dashboard in the films.

Turning the watch over reveals an engraved “Flux Capacitor”, the fictional core of the film’s time machine that famously activated at 88mph, with the Back to the Future logo etched onto the buckle.

Casio has gone all-in on the nostalgia factor with the packaging – the watch comes in a box styled like a retro VHS tape, complete with faux rental labels, a playful tribute to how fans originally experienced the movie.

The collectible feels genuinely authentic, especially since Casio made an appearance in the film, and it stands as one of the brand’s longest-running designs. The CA-500WEBF is set to launch on 21 October 2025, fittingly Back to the Future Day.
