Alongside the Max2, GoPro has unveiled the LIT Hero camera and the Fluid Pro AI gimbal. The LIT Hero is a compact lifestyle camera with a built-in light, designed for easy, on-the-go shooting. Meanwhile, the Fluid Pro AI gimbal brings AI-powered subject tracking and advanced stabilisation to GoPro cameras, smartphones, and point-and-shoot devices.
The LIT Hero weighs 93 grams, and features a rugged magnetic mounting system that allows for quick and versatile placement, all while maintaining GoPro’s renowned durability. Designed to handle tough environments, it features a waterproof build rated up to 16 feet (5 meters).
The camera records 4K video at 60 frames per second, with support for 2x slow motion and an optional 4:3 aspect ratio. This provides both point-of-view footage and vertical-friendly 9:16 content. A built-in light enhances low-light and nighttime recording, adding a retro-style aesthetic and improving visibility in darker settings.Still photography is supported with 12MP resolution in a 4:3 format.
Powering the LIT Hero is the Enduro battery, capable of delivering over 100 minutes of continuous 4K video recording, as per GoPro.
The LIT Hero is priced at $269 (Rs. 26,500).
GoPro’s Fluid Pro AI gimbal has an AI-powered three-axis stabiliser designed for smooth, cinematic footage. It’s compatible with GoPro cameras, smartphones, and compact point-and-shoots weighing up to 400 grams, and features interchangeable mounts.
The gimbal offers AI subject tracking, front or rear-facing, with face and body lock-on, and includes a built-in fill light to ensure balanced, well-lit shots. With up to 18 hours of battery life, it can also double as a power bank for on-the-go charging.
GoPro’s Fluid Pro AI gimbal is priced at $229 (approx. Rs. 20,300).
