The release date for Sucker Punch’s highly anticipated video game Ghost of Yōtei has been announced: it will be coming to PS5 on October 2, 2025. Developed by the creators of Ghost of Tsushima (duh!), Ghost of Yōtei is set in Ezo (present-day Hokkaido) and follows the story of Atsu, who seeks vengeance against the Yōtei Six, a gang of outlaws who killed her family.
Players can expect to explore the open world of Ezo, encountering both dangers and moments of peace, with the freedom to choose which member of the Yōtei Six to hunt down first. The game will also feature returning activities from Tsushima along with the ability to build campfires anywhere in the open world.
Pre-orders for Ghost of Yōtei are set to begin next week, on May 2. Multiple editions will be available, including a Collector’s Edition.
The standard edition will be available for $69.99. A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available for $79.99 bringing with it in-game bonuses such as The Snake’s armor set and an alternate dye for starting armor.
