Heads up, G-Wagon fans – Mercedes-AMG is about to bring something special on June 12 — a Collector’s Edition of the G63 that’s been tailor-made for India. It’s the first time the brand’s cooked up a locally inspired version, and it’s expected to go all in on the details.
Branded as “India Inspired”, this exclusive G63 nods to the country’s diverse culture, textures, and colours. Expect handpicked materials, India-themed design flourishes inside and out, and potentially some custom paint jobs that lean into the subcontinent’s flair for bold expression.
Mercedes-Benz’s Indian division and its R&D crew have been given the design reins, so there’s genuine local input behind the scenes. If you’ve been waiting for a G-Wagon that speaks your language – literally and visually – this one might be worth the wait.

Under the skin, the AMG G63 Collector’s Edition is expected to stick to familiar territory. So the fire-breathing 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 may stay right where it is – joined by mild-hybrid tech. That means you're still getting 585hp and 850Nm of torque, plus a little extra kick from the 48V system.
