Nothing has officially launched its first true flagship device in India—the Phone (3). Marking a shift in design, the new model moves away from the brand’s well-known Glyph interface and introduces a fresh concept called the Glyph Matrix—a circular micro-LED panel placed on the back of the phone.
The Glyph Matrix delivers glanceable updates like app alerts, contact-based notifications, and real-time progress indicators—keeping you informed without constant screen checks. Expanding on this, Glyph Toys adds quick tools and light-based mini-games, all controllable via a dedicated rear button. Features include a Glyph Mirror, Digital Clock, Stopwatch, Battery Level, Solar Clock, and games like Spin the Bottle. You can also assign pixel-style icons to contacts, personalised alerts.
The Nothing Phone (3) features a 6.67-inch 10-bit OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers peak outdoor brightness of up to 1600 nits. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Running on Nothing OS 3.5, which is based on Android 15, the phone comes with a strong software support promise—five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches. When compared to the Phone (2), Nothing says the Phone (3) delivers a 36% jump in CPU performance, an 88% improvement in GPU speeds, and up to 60% faster AI processing.
On the photography front, the Phone (3) features a triple-camera system on the rear – a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, there’s a 50MP front-facing camera, though it’s oddly limited to Full HD (1080p) video recording, while the rear cameras are capable of shooting in 4K.
Additionally, the device introduces a new hardware shortcut called the Essential Key, adding more customisable control. As expected from a flagship, the Phone (3) comes with IP68-rated dust and water resistance. Powering it all is a 5,500mAh battery with support for 65W wired and 15W wireless charging.
The Phone (3) is available in two finishes—Black and White. Pricing starts at ₹79,999 for the 12GB/256GB model, with the top-end 16GB/512GB variant coming in at ₹89,999.
