Redmi has launched two new budget smartphones: the Redmi 12C and Redmi Note 12 4G. The former comes at a starting price of ₹ 8999 while the latter starts at ₹14,999.
The 12C has a 6.71in LCD HD+ display, a 60Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor with a Mali G52 GPU and runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13. The smartphone is equipped with a 50MP primary sensor and a 5MP front camera. And it packs a 5,000 mAh battery which supports 10W Fast Charging.
The Redmi Note 12 4G, on the other hand, has 6.67in Super AMOLED Full HD+ screen with a 120Hz Refresh Rate and 1200 nits brightness. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor with Adreno 610 GPU and runs on Android 12 with MIUI 14.
The smartphone has a triple camera setup with a primary 50MP sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP Macro Sensor and a front camera of 13MP. And it packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W Fast Charging. The brand also ensures that it will get 2 years of Android OS updates, and 4 years of security updates.
