As the launch day of the Samsung Galaxy S23 is approaching, news about its features and specifications are making rounds. The latest one to reach us: The smartphone will have Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
A successor of Gorilla Glass Victus, the Victus 2 offers a higher drop resistance thus ensuring enhanced protection. As per the brand, the Victus 2 redefines toughness by resisting drops on rough surfaces like concrete, which is the world’s most commonly used engineered material.
It is also environment-friendly as it has received an Environmental Claim Validation for containing an average of 22% pre-consumer recycled content, as verified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL).
The news of it being used in the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S23 is confirmed by Corning itself.
