Reading about innovations in smart gadgets and devices is a usual affair for you and writing about it is routine for us, however, this piece might break the monotony for both because this time it's the charger that has received some attention. Didn’t understand? Coming straight to the point, we’ve brought you information about what’s supposed to be the country's smallest made-in-India GaN charger by Stuffcool.
The device is called Pico Pro and it's just 3cm wide and 4.5cm deep (excluding the pins obviously). And like most other things, don’t assume it wouldn’t make wonders because it’s small. The brand claims, the Pico Pro provides 35W of output from its single Type-C port and supports most devices including Macbook Air M1/M2, iPhones, Airpods, Apple Watch, the latest Pixel 7 series smartphones and Samsung devices.
In fact, as per Stuffcool, this teeny-weeny charger can fast charge iPhones and Pixel devices up to 50% in just 30 mins and can also fast charge the Nothing Phone 1 up to 33W PPS power (the claim is tall so we better use it before vouching).
To ensure safety, the brand promises this charger is BIS Approved, meets all Indian safety standards and is equipped with 6-layer safety protection. It also has an Auto Detect IC, delivering only the required power to the connected device. The Pico Pro costs ₹1,999.
