Lenovo has taken the wraps off the Yoga Tab Plus, its most advanced Android tablet yet — and what the brand says is its first with on-device AI. Running Lenovo AI Now, the tab features a personal AI assistant powered by large language models (up to 8 billion parameters) for real-time, offline smarts.

It can summarise content, turn voice into notes, and suggest context-aware prompts using tools like AI Note and AI Transcript. Add in Google Gemini integration, voice commands, and stylus support, and you've got a productivity setup that’s more brainy than basic.

Under the hood, the Yoga Tab Plus runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform, paired with Qualcomm’s Hexagon NPU, delivering up to 20 TOPS of on-device AI muscle. You get up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a generous 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Upfront is a 12.7-inch 3K LTPS PureSight Pro display (2944 x 1840) in a cinematic 16:10 aspect ratio, complete with a 144Hz refresh rate, 900 nits of brightness, and full DCI-P3 colour coverage. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, TÜV-certified for Low Blue Light and High Visibility, and treated with an anti-reflection coating to keep glare at bay. Audio-wise, the tablet packs a six-speaker system – four woofers, two tweeters, tuned by Harman Kardon, with Dolby Atmos onboard and support for clear highs up to 40kHz.

For connectivity, there’s Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port for charging and audio, plus a 3-point pogo pin for snapping on the keyboard accessory. Lenovo's Smart Connect lets you share clipboards, extend your screen, or even unlock your PC from the tablet. The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus features both Face Unlock and a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button, while on-device processing, encrypted biometrics, and a dedicated Security Processing Unit (SPU) help keep your data locked down.

Powering it is a 10,200mAh battery that promises up to 11 hours of YouTube streaming, with support for 45W fast charging. Wrapped in a sturdy aluminium alloy body, the Yoga Tab Plus weighs around 640g and comes in a Tidal Teal finish. And, its stainless-steel kickstand supports stand, tilt, and hang modes.

The Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus is priced starting at Rs. 49,999 in India.
