Space Marine fans, listen up! A totally free update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 that's going to push your combat skills to the absolute limit. Teased during Warhammer's Skulls Festival livestream, this beast of an update, aptly named Siege, is landing on June 26.
Siege mode is a PvE experience that's all about endless action. You and two squadmates will be dropped onto Kadaku, tasked with defending an Imperial fortress against ever-deadlier waves of Tyranid and Chaos forces. Expect impossible odds and constant pressure as you see how long you can hold out before, well, before your duty ends. It's going to be a brutal, glorious test of your Space Marine prowess.

Alongside the new "Siege" mode, the June 26 Patch 8 update also brings some sweet new gear for the fashion-conscious Astartes out there. If you've got the Ultra Edition, Gold Edition, or a Season Pass, you're getting two new cosmetic DLCs. The "White Scars Chapter Pack" loads you up with a new Champion skin for the Assault class, three exclusive White Scars-inspired weapon skins (Occulus Bolt Carbine, Stalker Bolt Rifle, Combat Knife), and a ton of heraldry markings. And for those who pledge loyalty to the Ninth Legion, the "Blood Angels Cosmetic Pack" delivers new armour pieces for any class, plus heraldry celebrating eight of their successor chapters.
