Skoda has spiced up the Slavia lineup in the Indian market with a new Monte Carlo Edition. Priced from ₹15.79 lakh (ex-showroom), this trim brings a touch of flair with two dual-tone colour options – Tornado Red and Candy White, both paired with a deep black roof.
The car carries the same road presence as the rest of the Slavia lineup. Skoda has also added some upgrades to set it a bit apart from the standard version. On the exterior, the sedan sports a blacked-out front grille, automatic mirrors with integrated turn indicators, and a sporty front and boot spoiler. It also features side skirts and a touch of chrome detailing. The trim retains its LED headlight setup with integrated DRLs, complemented by round-shaped fog lamps positioned just below the headlight unit.
Inside, the Monte Carlo Edition features a black and red-themed interior, a dark dashboard accented by bold red highlights and dual-tone seat upholstery. The headrests and scuff plates display the ‘Monte Carlo’ embroidery. The trim also has an electric sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, and aluminium pedals. A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes centre stage, supporting wireless car connect tech.
The newly launched Slavia Monte Carlo offers a choice between two turbo-petrol engines—a 1.0-liter and a 1.5-liter. The 1.0-litre engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the more powerful 1.5-litre engine comes with a 7-speed DSG for those who crave a bit more performance.
