The 2024 Citroen C3 is here, and it's got some new features. For starters, you can now get it with an automatic transmission. Inside, the cabin's got a nice upgrade with automatic climate control, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen. Plus, it now has steering-mounted controls for easier access.
For safety, the mid-level model and up come packed with six airbags, ABS, ESP, Hill Hold Assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, 3-point seat belts, ISOFIX, and seat belt reminders. The design of the C3 hasn’t changed much, but it still looks pretty modern. The car now features LED projector headlights, and it keeps the twin LED daytime running lights. One update is that the indicators have moved from the front fascia to the side mirrors. And, ORVMs are now electrically adjustable. Plus, Citroen has added a smart key fob to the mix.
The C3 is also (finally) getting an automatic transmission. It’ll come with a 6-speed automatic torque converter. The hatchback keeps its two 1.2-litre petrol engines. The naturally aspirated engine delivers 80 bhp and 115 Nm and pairs with a 5-speed manual. The 1.2-litre turbo engine offers two power levels and two gearbox options – the 6-speed manual gives you 108 bhp and 190 Nm, while the new automatic version also has 108 bhp but bumps up the torque to 205 Nm. The car starts at ₹6.16 lakh, ex-showroom.
