Acer has rolled out two new additions to its gaming and performance lineup—the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Helios Neo 16S AI laptops. Both machines are built around Intel’s latest Core Ultra 9 275HX processors and come equipped with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU, with support for DLSS 4, fourth-gen ray tracing, and Reflex 2—technologies increasingly relevant for AI-accelerated workflows and next-gen gaming.
On the hardware front, the laptops can be configured with up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 2TB of PCIe Gen4 SSD storage. Acer claims the RTX 5070 Ti GPU can deliver up to 992 TOPS of AI performance, placing these systems firmly in the zone for demanding creative and compute-intensive tasks.
The new Predator Helios Neo 16 AI features a 16-inch WQXGA IPS display with a 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, 500 nits of brightness, and full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. In contrast, the Helios 16S AI opts for a WQXGA OLED display with slimmer bezels, achieving a 90% screen-to-body ratio. Acer positions it as the more compact of the two, with a slimmer 18.9mm
chassis.
For thermal management, Acer has included its fifth-gen AeroBlade 3D fan, liquid metal thermal grease, and vector heat pipes to handle sustained performance. Additional touches include a four-zone RGB keyboard and a customisable RGB-lit cover logo, giving users some room for personalisation.
The laptops come equipped with a standard set of modern connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6E, Ethernet, and USB Type-C—covering both high-speed data transfer and display needs.
The Predator Helios Neo 16 AI is priced starting at Rs. 2,29,999, while the more compact Predator Helios Neo 16S AI starts at Rs. 1,54,999.
