Acer has launched two new Chromebooks in India – the Chromebook Plus 14 and 15. The laptops look sleek and come with built-in Google Gemini AI features. You can pick between Intel or AMD brains for the devices.
Chromebook Plus 14 has a 14-inch Full HD IPS display with options for high-brightness Acer ComfyView LED-backlit TFT LCD or an integrated multi-touch version. The Acer Chromebook Plus 15 features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with Acer ComfyView tech, available in standard and high-brightness touch variants.
The laptop comes packed with Google apps and AI tools. It supports Google Photos Magic Eraser, File Sync, Wallpaper generation and AI-created video backgrounds. Plus, there's AI-powered writing help and you can use Adobe Photoshop right in your browser.
The Acer Chromebook Plus 14 offers two processor options – an Intel Core i3-N305 and an AMD Ryzen 7000 Series chip. Its larger sibling, the Chromebook Plus 15, goes up to an Intel 13th Gen Core i7-1355U processor. Both models can be equipped with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
The Chromebook Plus models feature dual DTS speakers for enhanced sound quality, two built-in microphones, and a Full HD webcam with advanced features like noise reduction and HDR.
Both the Chromebook Plus 14 and 15 support the latest Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. They come equipped with a 53Wh battery that supports fast charging. Acer claims up to 11 hours of battery life for the Chromebook Plus 14 and up to 10 hours for the Chromebook Plus 15. The Acer Chromebook Plus 14 and 15 start at ₹35,990.
