We recently tested the Alienware x17 R1, which is the previous version of the currently launched laptop. Aside from booting the hot and furious Intel 11th Gen, the R2 variants come with Intel’s power-efficient and reasonably cooler 12th Gen processors and DDR5 RAM. Both of which are a welcome upgrade to the already big and boisterous gaming laptop from Alienware.
Both the x15 and x17 come with Nvidia’s RTX 30 Series GPUs and plenty of RAM depending on how deep your wallet goes. The starting price for the Alienware x15 R2 is ₹2,49,990, and ₹2,99,990 for the x17 R2. Both laptops get a FullHD variant with a whopping 360Hz refresh rate and G-Sync support. Meanwhile, the x15 R2 also comes with a QHD display at 240Hz.
The bigger x17 also comes with a Cherry MX mechanical keyboard and upgradable DDR5 RAM. Obviously, there are tons of cooling tech crammed into these slim-profile gaming laptops along with Alienware’s HyperEfficient Voltage Regulation technology. What that means is that both laptops are capable of proper power regulation during gaming or siesta time. You can pick up the Alienware x15 and x17 starting today from Dell stores and e-commerce websites.
