Amazfit Cheetah Series Smartwatches feature GPS tracking, AI coaching

Ready for a run

If you are into long-distance running, there’s a new series of watches in the market for you.  Amazfit has launched their first dedicated running smartwatch, the Cheetah series in the Indian market. To make your runs productive, these watches combine Amazfit’s proprietary GPS technology, MaxTrack, Zepp Coach, and its AI-powered personal coach.

The watches are available in round and square form factors. The sleek and lightweight designs are complemented by HD AMOLED displays — the Amazfit Cheetah Round boasting a 1.39in display and the Amazfit Cheetah Square featuring a 1.75in screen. The watches are constructed with a fibre-reinforced polymer middle frame and feature a crown and a button for seamless access.

MaxTrack technology makes use of dual-band circularly-polarised GPS antennas to improve positioning accuracy by picking up nearly 100% satellite signals. It also reduces interference from environmental factors like tall buildings, trees, and overcast skies.

The watches are designed to seamlessly connect with workout devices like heart rate belts and power meters and also integrate with popular fitness apps such as Strava, Relive, Adidas Running. It works with Google Fit and Apple Health.

The Amazfit Cheetah series will be available in select offline stores of Helios and Just In Time, from September 24, 2023, and carry a price tag of ₹ 20,999.
