Apple’s new MacBook Pro models with M3 chips start at ₹1,69,900

Mac's the limit

Apple’s ‘scary-fast’ MacBook Pro lineup is finally here, and it packs so much power to scare the hell out of that competitor who is yet to reveal itself. Featuring the all-new M3 family of chips, M3, M3 Pro, and M3 Max, the devices deliver substantial performance boost in pro apps and games.

Featuring a Liquid Retina XDR display with 20 percent brighter SDR content, a built-in 1080p camera, an immersive six-speaker sound system, and a wide array of connectivity options, the new Macbook Pro delivers up to 22 hours of battery life and is designed to provide the same performance whether plugged in or on battery. The new MacBook Pro will be available from November 7, but you can pre-order it now.

Aimed at students, aspiring musicians and video editors, the 14‑inch MacBook Pro with M3 is up to 60 percent faster than the 13‑inch MacBook Pro with M1, and it features an advanced thermal for sustained performance. The range starts at ₹1,69,900.

Available in 14 and 16-inch sizes, the MacBook Pro with M3 Pro offers even greater performance, supports more unified memory, and Apple claims a 40 percent speed boost over the 16‑inch model with M1 Pro.

The ultimate machine, the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Max is made for extreme workflows of professionals like machine learning programmers, 3D artists, and video editors. It is up to 2.5x faster than the 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Max and supports up to 128GB of unified memory. This enables creators to work seamlessly on large and complex projects spanning multiple pro apps and plugins, or compose huge film scores where entire orchestral libraries are instantly available from memory.

MacBook Pro models with M3 Pro and M3 Max are available in a new space black finish, offering a true pro feel. According to Apple, this finish is achieved through a breakthrough chemistry that forms an anodisation seal to reduce fingerprints. M3 Pro and M3 Max models are also available in silver, and the 14‑inch MacBook Pro with M3 is available in silver and space gray.

macOS Sonoma now brings new features for pros. The new high-performance mode in Screen Sharing enables seamless remote access to another Mac so pros can securely work on their highest-quality content from anywhere. Game Mode prioritises graphics tasks to deliver consistently high frame rates and reduce latency with wireless accessories.
