The latest Apple Watch Series 11 has been launched at the big Apple event, and it comes with interesting new features and specifications. It's said to be more durable, comes with better health features, improved battery life, a new and more durable Ion-X glass for screen protection, and features 5G connectivity, giving it faster and more reliable mobile connectivity. Interestingly, Apple has also refreshed the more affordable smartwatch lineup with the Apple Watch SE3, as well as bringing the third-generation Apple Watch Ultra which improves the feature set for fitness and outdoor enthusiasts.

New features on the new Apple Watch devices - particularly the Series 11 and Ultra 3 - now include possible detection of hypertension (high blood pressure), which is likely to roll out in select markets in the coming weeks. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 gets satellite connectivity and a bigger display. The Apple Watch Series 11 has claimed battery life of 24 hours, while the Ultra 3 can do up to 42 hours on a single charge.
The Apple Watch SE3 will still be the most affordable in the current-gen lineup, but now comes with the S10 processor (also seen on the Apple Watch Series 10) and always-on display. Battery life is claimed to be 18 hours.
The new Apple Watch devices are iterative upgrades, with the SE3 being particularly useful in that it's considerably upgrades over the Apple Watch SE2 which was launched in 2022. Apple has also launched the AirPods Pro 3 and iPhone 17 series at its key product launch event this year.
