Apple's 'Scary Fast' Event: Where To Watch, What To Expect!

All Hallows’ Eve eve!

Just as we hinted a few days ago, Apple is gearing up for a significant product launch for its Mac lineup. The highly anticipated ‘Scary Fast’ event, is set to take place on 5PM (PT) October 30 and is expected to showcase a range of premium products, including new MacBooks and iMacs. For those eager to catch the Scary Fast event, you can watch it live on the Apple Events website and YouTube starting at 5:30 am on October 31 in India. Apple TV users can tune in to the event live using their iPhones, iPads, and Macs by accessing the dedicated Scary Fast section.

The choice of the event's name, Scary Fast, is likely a clever play on words that takes advantage of the event's timing, coinciding with the eve of Halloween in many countries. Moreover, there's a possibility that ‘Scary Fast’ hints at new and powerful chips being introduced, aligning with Apple's tradition of pushing the envelope in terms of performance and speed.

The event is expected to shine the spotlight on Apple's latest Mac offerings, and it's highly likely that the company will introduce updates to several of its models. According to insights from Mark Gurman, an Apple insider at Bloomberg, Apple could unveil new iterations of the 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, featuring the new M3 Pro and M3 Max chips. Furthermore, the 24-inch iMac might also receive an update, potentially incorporating the M3 chips.

In addition to the Mac lineup, we expect Apple could reveal refreshed versions of the Magic keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad, all equipped with USB-C ports for charging, replacing the previous Lightning ports.
