Aston Martin DB12 comes with a price tag of ₹4.59 crore

A taste of luxury and performance

Aston Martin is making waves in the Indian automotive scene with the launch of its latest grand tourer, the DB12. Successor to DB11, the DB12 comes with a price tag of ₹4.59 crore (ex-showroom).

When it comes to design, the coupe boasts a fresh set of headlights and a revamped front fascia, showcasing a larger rendition of Aston Martin's iconic grille. While the overall design may seem a bit familiar, the DB12 boasts wider front and rear tracks, hinting at its enhanced performance and road presence.

Under the hood of the DB12 lies a robust 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine sourced from AMG. It generates a 671 BHP and a 800 Nm of torque, marking a 34% increase in power compared to its predecessor, the DB11. To channel this power, the DB12 is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Aston Martin says that the DB12 can dash from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, achieving a top speed of 325 km/h.

The DB12 also received a significant interior makeover, flaunting an overhauled design and a host of new features. The centerpiece is a brand-new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, developed in-house. It is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and features a range of connectivity functions, including Over-The-Air (OTA) updates and an array of subscription-based services. Additionally, the cabin boasts an 11-speaker sound system, plus the center console is adorned with physical touch buttons, adding a tactile dimension to the car's controls.
