Astro Bot gets five new speedrun levels and ten special bots to rescue, starting October 17

Team Asobi is about to level up the fun in Astro Bot with five brand-new speedrun levels—completely free! Dropping in the coming weeks, these levels will be packed with special Bots to rescue, fresh platforming challenges, and hours of extra excitement. 

Starting October 17, Astro Bot fans can play the free post-launch speedrun levels, with a fresh challenge arriving every week! According to the PlayStation Blog, these five new levels will introduce two Special Bots to rescue in each, beginning with the Building Speed level. In this fast-paced adventure, players will team up with Barkster, the bulldog booster, to soar through a bustling city, dodging cranes and other obstacles at breakneck speeds. 

The release schedule kicks off with Building Speed on October 17, followed by Let it Slide on October 24, Spring-loaded Run on October 31, Helium Heights on November 7, and concludes with Rising Heat on November 14. Each update, available every Thursday, will bring new gameplay twists and introduce special Bots per level, ultimately adding 10 unique Bots to rescue. Sony has already teased Eve from Stellar Blade and the Helldivers, but as for the rest, you’ll have to discover them yourself!
