Asus’ introduces Drop Zone service to streamline laptop repair

For hassle-free laptop repairs via select retail stores!

Asus has rolled out a new Drop Zone service at its select exclusive stores, offering customers a more convenient way to get their laptops repaired. Instead of making a trip to a dedicated service centre, users can now simply leave their devices at nearby Asus outlets for servicing.

Asus is initially offering the Drop Zone service for in-warranty laptops, streamlining repairs through a six-step process that includes device inspection, backend coordination, and customer notification once the repair is complete. Customers are required to present the job sheet to collect their device, and in cases where it’s lost, standard service center protocols will apply.

Currently available in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Nagpur, and Coimbatore, the service is expected to expand to more locations across India. Store staff will perform a quick initial check for any visible damage or software issues, after which the laptop is sent to a service hub. Customers are given a job sheet to monitor progress and will be informed once the repair is done. Assistance is available 24/7 through phone, chat, email, and the MyASUS app, which offers remote troubleshooting as well, as per Asus.

Asus is also expanding Drop Zone availability beyond metro areas. In Pune, the company has set up a dedicated service camp, offering walk-in diagnostics and expert consultations.
