Asus has pulled the wraps off the ROG NUC (2025), its first-ever sub-three-litre gaming mini PC that shows big power can come in a small package. Under the hood, it’s armed with the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 2 processors, paired with up to 96GB of DDR5-6400MHz memory and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. The result, as per Asus, is up to 4X faster rendering performance than its predecessors.
At its peak, the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX cranks up to 5.4GHz boost speeds, while its 24-core hybrid design, built-in NPU, and powerhouse GPU promise smooth real-time rendering and easy handling of the most demanding gaming marathons or creative workloads.
The ROG NUC (2025) offers GPU options all the way up to the mighty GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU, with choices for 5070 Ti, 5070, and 5060 as well. Powered by DLSS 4, it brings AI-driven Multi Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, and Super Resolution to the table.
Asus says all of this isn’t just about gaming; this compact machine is equally ready for 4K editing, livestreaming, and even AI workflows, thanks to its tool-free upgradability and support for Nvidia NIM microservices.
The ROG NUC (2025) keeps cool with signature ROG thermal tech, featuring a triple-fan system and dual-vapour-chamber design that stays quiet even under heavy loads. Connectivity is future-proof too, with Bluetooth 5.4 and Intel WiFi 7 speeds up to 5.8Gbps.
All this power fits into a chassis measuring 282 x 187.7 x 56.5mm, under 3 litres in volume, complete with an integrated vertical stand. Its modular design makes upgrades easy, while the rich I/O lineup includes Thunderbolt 4 USB-C with fast charging, six USB 10Gbps ports, and two USB 3.2 ports. And, because it’s ROG, you also get customizable Aura Sync ARGB lighting to sync with your setup.
