Asus ROG Phone 6 series debuts in India featuring Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset

This one requires big hands and even bigger pockets…

The much-awaited Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro have finally made their way to India. Designed for gamers, this ROG series will be the first in India to feature Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chipset.

You need to be ready for a constant hand workout courtesy of the Phone 6 Pro’s mammoth 6.78in AMOLED panel with FHD resolution. The phone is so large that they have had to pack in a one-hand mode. But hey, you’ll hear no complaints from the gamers. The Pixelworks i6 Processor alongside a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 395PPI and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus has also made an appearance on this model. Lastly, when it comes to looks, the phone would be incomplete without the unique ROG Vision colour PMOLED screen housed in the rear panel.

The handset crams in a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 65W HyperCharge. The 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage capacity keep you well equipped for all your gaming needs. On the camera front, the ROG Phone 6 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup. The 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a macro camera lens. On the front, they have included a 12MP shooter.

Running on Android 12 OS based on ROG UI and Zen UI, the series will be available priced starting at a wallet-punching ₹71,999 for the standard model and ₹89,999 for the Pro model. Both models will be available in Storm White, while the ROG Phone 6 will additionally sport a Phantom Black colourway. That’s not all, it even comes with an Asus ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad.
