There are not many brands that can feel the pulse of a gamer than Asus Republic of Gamers. Their latest offering is a 42-inch gaming monitor that offers everything that a gamer can ask for. The Swift PG42UQ features the latest generation OLED panel that offers greater efficiency and brighter visuals. Apart from an overclocked 138 Hz refresh rate, the 4K (3840 x 2160) panel reproduces the deepest blacks, as well as deeper colours with 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The display also offers Delta E<2 for colour accuracy.
Talking about speeds, the monitor is equipped with an ultrafast 0.1 ms response time (GTG). To keep the innards cool, the Swift OLED PG42UQ houses a custom heatsink that offers more surface area, offering 8% lower operating temperatures if claims are to be believed.
The panel has been applied with a special anti-glare micro-texture coating to reduce reflections, while an optional uniform brightness setting maintains the display’s brightness level to ensure comfortable viewing.
To ensure compatibility with Nvidia processors, the display is G-SYNC-compatible. With a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio, the monitor offers HDR10 compatibility and offers True 10-bit colour. The PG42UQ offers a full suite of I/O options including a DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports with 48 Gbps bandwidth, two HDMI 2.0 ports, a USB hub and a tripod socket on top of the monitor for connections to various accessories. But as icing on the cake, there are two 10-watt front speakers and a 15-watt woofer with sound tuned by Harman Kardon.
The ROG Swift OLED PG42UQ is priced at ₹1,89,999.
