Asus unveils all-new Zenbook 14 OLED with Intel Core Ultra 9 processor

Hail the new ultra

The latest Intel Core CPUs are here, and so are laptops powered by the new AI-powered chipsets. Asus has revealed the Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3405), an ultra-portable laptop weighing 1.2 kg.

The Intel Evo edition laptop offers an enhanced 75 Wh battery that promises better power efficiency with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processors and Intel Arc graphics. The Zenbook’s vivid 3K Asus Lumina OLED touchscreen offers a 120 Hz refresh rate, while new super-linear speakers ensure powerful audio. For connectivity, the device provides two Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 2.1 (TMDS) ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack.

A Full HD IR camera with a physical shutter takes care of privacy and a new quiet Asus ErgoSense keyboard aids in trouble-free typing. Asus makes extensive use of recycled materials for the laptop and its packaging.

The device ships with up to 1 TB SSD storage and 32 GB RAM.  WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 ensure fast and reliable wireless connectivity while the audio department is handled by Harman Kardon and Dolby Atmos-certified built-in speakers. Prices haven’t been announced yet.
