Audi e-bike is inspired by the brand’s RS Q e-tron E2 electric Dakar Rally racer

Want to buy an electric bike and have a boatload of cash to splurge? If yes, we say have a look at Audi’s latest upscale e-bike, an electric mountain bike that draws inspiration from Audi's RS Q e-tron E2 electric Dakar Rally racer and is constructed using the XMF 1.7 model as its base. Made by Italian bike maker Fantic, the e-bike comes with a 250W Brose motor and a 720Wh battery which promises to deliver 66ft/lb of peak torque. And, it has four levels of electric assistance including mild Eco, Sport, Tour and all-out Boost mode.

Made from aluminium, the electric mountain bike also uses components from Porsche's eBike lineup, apart from the motor and battery. And, you can expect IN.CA.S disc brakes, an Öhlins fork and shock, and Sram components for the chain, shifters and derailleur. The Vittoria tires and Sella Italia saddle are Italian-made.

The e-bike that is currently available as a limited-run model is priced at £8,499 (around ₹8,50,000) so hurry up and empty your pockets.
