The Beosound A5 has a distinct Scandinavian vibe with a woven paper fiber front and an oak handle. It is made in collaboration with the Danish-Italian design duo GamFratesi, and to top it off, the design is a nod to Bang & Olufsen's Beolit radio series from the groovy '60s.
On the inside, there are four digital amplifiers that combine 280 watts of power with dynamic 360-degree sound. To be precise, there is a 5.25in woofer, 2 x 2in midrange and a 0.75 tweeter. Additionally the speaker offers 12 hours of runtime between charges and is also IP65 rated so its water as well as dustproof. In short you can use it inside as a sophisticated piece of art that also plays music or take it for a hike with you on a cloudy day.
The Bang & Olufsen Beosound A5 speaker comes in two colourways: Nordic Weave and a Dark Oak model for a starting price of £899 (around ₹91,912).
