BenQ V5000i is a 4K RGB laser projector with 2500 lumens of brightness and 40W speakers

Want to transform your space into a cinematic wonderland?

BenQ's latest V5000i—an ultra short throw projector is one unlike anything you've ever seen before. The 4K RGB laser projector boasts 2500 ANSI lumens of brightness and comes with HDR Pro compatibility. It's also one of the rare few in its league that embraces 98% of the DCI-P3 colour spectrum and 95% of the BT2020 range.

With CinematicColor technology, BenQ ensures the UST projector is designed to immerse you in natural, true-to-life colours. With support for screen sizes of up to 120-inch, a throw ratio of 0.252, and options like auto screen fit, manual screen fit, and ceiling mounting (courtesy of 2D keystone correction), the BenQ V5000i can find its home in any room.

The V5000i also features 40W speakers, including two 5W tweeters and two 15W woofers. Its 2300cc chamber design is said to enhance sound output and deliver powerful bass. Additionally, you also get the flexibility to expand your audio setup, thanks to the HDMI eARC port that allows for external 5.1/7.1 speaker connections.

The BenQ V5000i runs on Google-certified Android TV software and offers access to popular OTT apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, SonyLiv, et cetera. The V5000i series projector comes with a price tag of ₹5,49,000 and is currently on display at our ongoing What Hi-Fi (WHF) event in Bengaluru. If you're curious to see it in action, you can check out the live demo at the show.
