Fresh off the buzz of the iX1 LWB debut, BMW has rolled out the fourth-gen X3 SUV in India. The car comes with a starting price of ₹75.80 lakh for the xDrive20 petrol variant and ₹77.80 lakh for the xDrive20d diesel.
Both variants of the BMW X3 pack 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engines mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, channelling power to all four wheels via BMW’s xDrive AWD system. The xDrive20 petrol churns out 190hp and 310Nm of torque, while the xDrive20d diesel steps it up with 197hp and 400Nm, as per BMW.
Design-wise, the new X3 features BMW's signature illuminated kidney grilles, new headlights with double LED accents, and clean, minimalist surfaces. Adding to its commanding stance are wide, muscular wheel arches and sporty 19-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the BMW X3 brings tech and luxury with a curved display setup with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 14.9-inch digital driver’s display, powered by the latest iDrive 9 software. The cabin has newly designed heated Sports Seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a panoramic glass sunroof, and a premium Harman Kardon sound system. The standard kit includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, park assist, four-zone climate control, and a reclining rear bench.
