BMW CE 02 launched in India with a price tag of ₹4.50 lakh

And, a claimed range of 108 Km!

BMW Motorrad has launched the CE 02 in India, starting at ₹4.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This futuristic urban ride, developed in Munich, gets its production boost from TVS Motor Company in Hosur.

The CE 02's vibe is minimalist with a modern twist. It sports a flat, skateboard-like seat and comes in Cosmic Black with a granite grey motor cover. And, if you opt for the highline package, you'll score some eye-catching anodised golden forks.

Tech-wise, it’s fully loaded—a Bluetooth interface, SP Connect smartphone mount, a 3.5-inch TFT display, and USB-C charging port to keep you connected. There’s even an extra flash riding mode for when you want to amp up the fun, plus a power-saving mode for when you want to conserve juice. Along with heated grips and LED lights that come standard. Also add the 1.5 kW quick charger to the mix.

The BMW CE 02 rides on a double-loop frame crafted from tubular steel. It tips the scales at 142 kilograms and has a seat height of 745 mm. For suspension, it’s got hydraulically-damped telescopic forks upfront and a single-sided rear swingarm. The wide tyres are mounted on cast light aluminium wheels, styled in a disc wheel design that gives the bike some extra flair.

The BMW CE 02 runs on a 11 kW synchronous motor that churns out 55 Nm of torque. Its 3.9 kWh battery gives it a claimed range of up to 108 kilometres, with a top speed of 95 kmph. BMW claims it can go from 0 to 50 kmph in just 3 seconds.

Charging is easy with the standard 900 W external charger, getting you from 20 to 80 percent in about 102 minutes, as per BMW. The motor offers two riding modes—Flow for a smooth cruise and Surf for a bit more excitement. If you want to kick things up a notch, the Highline package unlocks the sporty Flash mode. And, it even has an electric reverse gear!

On the safety front, the CE 02 has you covered with BMW Motorrad's anti-lock braking system (ABS) for the front wheel, automatic stability control (ASC), and recuperation stability control (RSC) for a smooth, worry-free ride.
