BMW Motorrad shifted gears and unveiled a bold new concept—a 450cc adventure machine for uncharted trails. While it’s still a concept, all signs point to this bike making its way to production next year. Adventure riders, get ready, already!
The 450 GS concept features an all-new 450cc twin-cylinder engine, reportedly delivering 47 hp. Built on a fresh frame, weighing 175 kg, it leverages lightweight materials like magnesium to keep things agile. Riders will appreciate the fully adjustable front suspension and preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, designed for tackling all terrains. The concept rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels, but BMW might offer cast aluminium wheels when this adventure machine hits production.
BMW has outfitted the 450 GS concept with a 6.5-inch TFT display, cornering ABS, selectable riding modes, traction control, and Bluetooth connectivity. With the production model expected to debut in 2025, we are left wondering just how much of this cutting-edge equipment will make the cut.
