BMW Motorrad has launched the F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure in India. The F 900 GS comes with a price tag of ₹13.75 lakh, while the Adventure version is priced at ₹14.75 lakh (both ex-showroom). Under the hood, both bikes pack a punch with their 2-cylinder in-line engine, cranking out 105 hp at 8,500 rpm and 93 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm.
The BMW F 900 GS and its Adventure variant have gotten a total makeover. New, close-fitting tank panels and a fresh radiator trim give the F 900 GS a sleek, sporty off-road look. True to form, it sports the classic GS beak under the new headlight, with the signature GS flyline stretching from tank to tail. An Akrapoviè silencer adds a sporty touch to the rear. The redesigned plastic fuel tank also allows for a much slimmer profile. These tweaks have the F 900 GS looking sharper and more trail-ready than ever, as per BMW. The F900 GS will be available in two colour options – the Style Passion variant in São Paulo Yellow solid paint or the “GS Trophy” variant with a dual-tone combination of Light White solid paint and Racing blue metallic.
The new BMW F 900 GS Adventure also comes in two looks. The Blackstorm metallic version features redesigned radiator trims with a white aluminium GS logo, black engine, fork tubes, and rims that play off nicely against a black-grey comfort seat. For those with wanderlust, there's also a White Aluminium matt variant.
Both bikes come kitted out with LED headlights as standard. The F 900 GS features a wider low beam angle, lighting up more of the road right before you. LED is also used for turn signals and control lights on both models. To top it all, these bikes come with a 6.5-inch TFT display. The TFT display isn't just a pretty face. It packs Bluetooth connectivity, letting you handle calls and texts on the go. Plus, it hasnavigation to keep you on track and music streaming to keep you entertained.
