BMW i7 M70 xDrive comes with a price tag of ₹2.50 crore (ex-showroom)

An electrifying performer, you say?

BMW India has unveiled the BMW i7 M70 xDrive in the Indian market. The all-electric vehicle will be offered as a Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit and comes with a price tag of ₹2.50 crore (ex-showroom).

The BMW i7 M70 xDrive shares a resemblance with the standard i7 model, but it boasts distinctive M touches. At the front, you'll spot the BMW kidney grille, flaunting the M logo, encircled by sleek Black high-gloss surfaces. This model gets a generous dose of M styling, including M front and rear bumpers, M 21-inch alloy wheels with blue callipers, a black front grille, M spoiler, glossy black window trim, M side skirts, M mirrors, and a striking dual-tone paint job.

The India-spec variant provides an array of colour schemes to choose from, including BMW Individual Coachline with Oxide Grey or Black Sapphire Top, BMW Special Individual Paintwork, as well as metallic options like Oxide Grey, Black Sapphire, Carbon Black, Mineral White, Brooklyn Grey, BMW Individual Tanzanite Blue, and BMW Individual Dravit Grey.

On the inside, the opulent interior offers you a choice of six  themes to tailor your BMW i7 M70 xDrive experience. You can take your pick from a selection that includes BMW Individual Leather 'Merino' Amarone, BMW Individual Leather 'Merino' Smoke White, BMW Individual Leather 'Merino' Mocha, BMW Individual Leather 'Merino' Black, BMW Individual Leather 'Merino' Tartufo, and BMW Individual Leather 'Merino' in Black and Atlas Grey.

There is an M steering wheel, M headliner, elegant glass accents for interior elements, and a 35-speaker, 1965-watt Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system. The tech game is pretty strong, too, with a 31.3-inch 8K Theater Screen, the BMW Curved Display, and a heads-up display.

The i7 M70 packs a 101.7kWh (usable) battery, granting you a range of up to 560 kilometres according to the WLTP standard. As an added bonus, when you acquire the BMW i7 M70 xDrive, you'll receive a complimentary BMW Wallbox charger complete with installation services. This charger can also be integrated at your home, offering charging at speeds of up to 22kW.

An M-specific configuration of the drive system enables the BMW i7 M70 xDrive’s rear-axle motor. This drive unit is designed with six phases and a dual inverter, ensuring that you have ample power on tap even at high speeds. BMW claims that this car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, and it boasts a top speed of 250 km/h. It produces an output of 660 hp and a maximum torque of 1100 Nm.
