Bowers & Wilkins Px8 could be the most expensive wireless headphones in the market ever

A light purse is a heavy curse

Bowers & Wilkins are known for offering only the best to their loyal clientele across the globe and this time is no exception. The recently launched Bowers & Wilkins Px8 could be one of the most expensive noise-cancelling wireless headphones on the market. Well yes, leaving behind Apple's AirPods Max and Master & Dynamic's MW75.

Priced at a starting cost of £599 which is close to half a lakh in Indian currency, the flagship audio device is akin to the brand’s Px7 S2 with similar noise-cancelling abilities, mics,  processor and better, if not similar, battery life.

What’s new then, you may ask? The name of course! Jokes apart, the newest wireless headphones feature the all-new bespoke 40mm Carbon Cone driver for ultra-fast response plus low distortion throughout the frequency range, the brand promises that the experience surpasses that of the Px7 S2.

Moving on to the design, the PX8 comes in two finishes – black leather or tan leather, and features a cast-aluminium arm structure in sync with Bowers & Wilkins’ signature design and a diamond-cut bright edge on each elliptical logo plate. The earcups and headband have memory-foam cushions and are made of Nappa leather so they are extremely soft and comfortable.

The headphones use Qualcomm’s aptXTM Adaptive wireless technology, USB-C and 3.5mm analogue cable. The brand also promises that the Px8 combines its ultra-high-performance driver configuration with Bowers & Wilkins-developed DSP (Digital Signal Processing) to deliver 24-bit high-resolution sound quality from leading streaming services.
