CES 2022: The ROG Swift OLED 4K monitors are for the best of 4K gaming

Anti-glare and anti-boring

CES 2022 might not hold the wow factor for seasoned tech enthusiasts but it still manages to bring a bunch of much-needed tech refresh to existing ideas and one such product is the ROG Swift OLED monitors. Shipping in two sizes of 42in and 48in, both sport 4K 120Hz with 1,000,000:1 contrast ration and 0.1ms of response time.

We’re not sure if they’re monitors at this point but the Swift OLED PG42UQ comes with a micro-texture coating to kick out any reflections and glare during heating gaming sessions. There’s also 98% DCI-P3 colour coverage and ROG has pre-calibrated the monitors to Delta E < 2 colour accuracy.

If you’re scratching your head over what that means, then fret not, the monitors are built for long gaming sessions. They come with a custom heatsink and internal airflow layout to keep the insides cool. It can also push to 900 nits of peak brightness and has a variable refresh rate, two HDMI 2.1, two HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort and a USB hub.
