CES 2023: Samsung’s take on the new era of screens

As long as it’s not the same!

Come January and Samsung has a whole new approach to devices across segments. This time, during CES 2023, the brand unveiled its latest Neo QLED, Micro LED and Samsung OLED lineups with a focus on enhanced connectivity and personalized consumer experiences.

First things first: the Neo QLED 8K and 4K televisions. The picture quality in both these televisions is powered by Samsung’s Neural Quantum Processor, which offers 14-bit processing and AI upscaling, and enables features like Shape Adaptive Light Control and Real Depth Enhancer Pro for a three-dimensional visual experience.

As per the brand, the Neo QLED TVs also make Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) content brighter and livelier using AI deep learning technology to analyze and apply real-time High Dynamic Range (HDR) effects on a scene-by-scene basis.

Moving on to Micro LED and Samsung OLED. The latest Micro LED lineup has a range of models from 50in to a whopping 140in screen size. Plus, all the models are bezel-less for an enhanced viewing experience.

Similarly, the 2023 OLED lineup is also available in 55in, 65in and the new ultra-large 77in models. It is laced with the Quantum Dot technology (same as Neo QLEDs) as well as Neural Quantum Processors. And for the first time, Samsung OLEDs come with AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro certification for the ultimate OLED gaming experience.

The devices come with a 144Hz refresh rate and all of Samsung’s smart features, including Samsung Gaming Hub.
