A bit fashionably late to the EV party!

Honda made a big splash at CES 2024, revealing its new 0 Series. This lineup features two fresh EV concept models – the sleek Saloon sedan and the spacey Space-Hub minivan-style ride.

The Saloon is the star of the show, featuring a super aerodynamic design and a low-slung profile. On the inside, it looks chic and futuristic with its human-machine interface (HMI) on the instrument panel. Honda has gone all-in with the adoption of steer-by-wire and the advancement of the motion management system,steer-by-wire and this fancy motion management system including posture control, the Saloon aims to realise control at the will of the driver in a variety of driving situations.

The Space-Hub, on the other hand, takes a different route with its boxy shape, plus it has seating where passengers face each other. Honda's keeping quiet about turning this concept into a real car, though.

Honda's first entries into the 0 Series lineup will also feature driver-assist systems that buddy up with their Sensing Elite software. They're planning to ramp it up later in the decade with AI-powered automated driving features.Honda is also shooting for the stars with its battery tech – super-fast charging from 15 to 80 percent in just 15 minutes, they say. Plus, they're gunning for less than 10 percent battery degradation over a decade.

Honda has revealed plans to roll out a model inspired by the Saloon concept car specifically tailored for North American markets by 2026, before gradually expanding its availability to regions like Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa. As a cherry on top, they also introduced a fresh, redesigned 'H' logo exclusively reserved for their EV lineup.
