CES 2024: HP Omen Transcend 14 gaming laptop is touted as the world’s lightest 14-inch gaming laptop

Time to power up!

HP brought their freshest gaming crew to CES 2024, and the Omen Transcend 14 Gaming Laptop steals the spotlight! The laptop is designed for gamers and creative souls alike.

With its sleek OLED display and slim build, the laptop is touted as the world’s lightest 14-inch gaming laptop, tipping the scales at just over 1.5 kg (precisely 1,637 g). Plus, HP says, the device guarantees an immersive ride with its IMAX Enhanced Certified 2.8K 120Hz VRR OLED display and a sky-printed RGB keyboard without those distracting lines.

Underneath the surface, the Omen Transcend 14 flexes its muscles with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPUs. And when it comes to cooling, its thermal innovation, featuring a vapour chamber for heat dissipation, promises to keep your gaming sessions cool as a cucumber. The Omen Transcend 14 Gaming Laptop comes for a starting price of $1,499 (approx. ₹1,24,602.)

HP's lineup at the showcase also includes the Omen Transcend 32 UHD 240Hz OLED gaming monitor, pulling off a first with its switchable independent USB ports. There's also another first in the mix—a 140W USB-C power delivery feature. This 4K monitor has a 240Hz refresh rate, 0.3 ms response time, and it's loaded up with Dolby Vision. Plus, it is also the premier Omen display to bag the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. HP plans to launch this gaming monitor later this year, keeping the price under wraps until closer to the launch.
